Base Materials

  • Acrylic

    Cast Acrylic sheets are preferable for machining. They are suitable for interior or exterior use - weather-resistant and will hold up very well outdoors. Acrylic comes in white, black, and clear, and readily accepts vinyl laminate of any color. Great when you need a smooth gloss finish.

  • PVC

    Expanded polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheet material can be used for screen-printing, signs, displays, exhibits, photo mounting and more. It is easy to fabricate with standard shop tools. It is primarily an indoor material, but may be used for short term outdoor use. PVC is UL 94-V-Q fire rated material and comes in a variety of sheet sizes. Note: dark colors are subject to heat deformation. Keep out of direct sun and exposure to any heat source!

  • HDU Foam (15 lb.)

    HDU (High Density Urethane) foam is a high density, lightweight, yet durable, polyurethane board. It is completely waterproof, unaffected by temperature or moisture, and highly chemically resistant, allowing any paint finish. HDU foam provides a long-term life span in any environment, inside or out.

  • Painted Letters or Logos


    Custom routed, primed and painted HDU for The UNTZ Festival. Custom matched Pantone colors.

    We offer painted letters and logos in an array of standard colors. We use Ronan Aquacote waterbased paints and clear-coat each piece with a satin clear coat. This will ensure your letters and logos will last for years, indoors and outdoors. We can custom eye-match Pantone (PMS) colors for an additional cost.

Laminate Materials

  • Acrylic

    Available as a laminate on HDU; recommended for indoor use (acrylic expands and contracts with temperature changes, which may cause it to detach from the HDU). See the description in Base Materials.

  • Aluminum

    Clear/Silver or Gold anodized single-faced aluminum, .040" thick.

  • Vinyl

    Arlon 2 mil high performance vinyl graphic film, with 8-10 year life span.

  • Digitally Printed Graphics

    Your artwork can be printed and applied to the surface of any letter or logo. Custom Pantone (PMS) colors can also be achieved.

  • Painted Edges


    Aluminum Laminate on 2" thick HDU, with Metallic Silver painted edges.

    We offer painted edges on letters/logos with aluminum laminate to mimic a solid aluminum look at an economical cost. We can also paint any letter/logo edge a contrasting color to give a more dramatic look to your project.
